Zach Bryan Sets Gillette Stadium Attendance Record While Wearing 'Free Palestine' Shirt

सारांश

Zach Bryan performed before a record 73,538 fans at Gillette Stadium, marking the venue's largest crowd, and wore a shirt supporting Palestine for the second consecutive night.

Zach Bryan attracted a crowd of 73,538 at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, the highest attendance ever recorded at the venue, according to tour promoter AEG and the stadium’s social-media announcement. The singer-songwriter wore a T-shirt bearing the slogan “Free Palestine” for the second night in a row, a move interpreted as a statement directed at stadium owner Robert Kraft.

Kraft, who has previously opposed pro-Palestine remarks by other artists, used the stadium’s official account to defend his decision to bar rapper Macklemore from a scheduled opening slot on the Ed Sheeran tour after Macklemore made such comments in New Jersey. A Kraft representative did not respond to requests for comment.

Bryan, a Navy veteran known for his country-music repertoire, was joined onstage by band members wearing Palestine-themed apparel. His drummer, Nate Head, wore a jersey featuring the name of a five-year-old Gaza girl reported killed in January 2024.

Social media circulated an alleged statement from Bryan defending his stance, but the post originated from an account that does not belong to the artist. Bryan’s official X account has been inactive for some time.

The Foxborough concerts are part of Bryan’s largest tour to date, which includes more than 40 dates across North America and Europe. The shows follow his historic September 2025 performance at Michigan Stadium, where he set a U.S. concert-attendance record with 112,408 tickets sold.
