Two injured in downtown Portland shooting, four detained by police
Two men were treated for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds after a downtown Portland shooting early Saturday, and police detained four suspects while investigating the incident.
Police responded to a disturbance near Southwest 3rd Avenue and West Burnside Street in downtown Portland at about 12:20 a.m. on Saturday. While en route, officers heard gunfire and discovered evidence of a shooting, though no victims or suspects were initially found at the scene.

Officers from several precincts, along with a K9 unit, surrounded the area and detained four men as the investigation continued. Two adult men later arrived at a local hospital by private transport with gunshot wounds that were treated as non-life-threatening.
