Apple expected to unveil touchscreen MacBook Pro this fall, Bloomberg reports
Apple is likely to launch a redesigned MacBook Pro with a touchscreen as early as October, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, with other new products slated for the same period.
Apple is preparing to introduce a redesigned MacBook Pro featuring a touchscreen, OLED display and other upgrades, Bloomberg reported. The company could unveil the device in October, with a possible slip to November, and is currently testing it internally with a beta version of macOS 27.2.
"Apple, I believe, will introduce its first touchscreen MacBook Pro this fall, as early as October. It could slip to November, but as early as October. And Apple is testing it internally using macOS 27.2, which is a beta that they’ve already put out to developers in recent weeks. So this thing is approaching," said Mark Gurman.
Gurman noted that Apple typically launches new Macs in the late-October to early-November window, suggesting the timing aligns with past patterns. He also indicated that several other Apple products, including a new Apple TV 4K, a HomePad, a HomePod mini and the iPhone Duo, are expected to be announced in mid-October, with the MacBook Pro following shortly after.
