Actor Chad Lowe and wife Kim Painter mourn 13-year-old daughter Fiona

Actor Chad Lowe and his wife, producer Kim Painter, announced that their 13-year-old daughter, Fiona Lowe, has died. The family released a statement to ABC News expressing their grief and requesting privacy, while also urging anyone struggling with mental health issues to contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

The statement described Fiona as a loving, smart, and creative girl who enjoyed dancing and was cherished by her sisters and parents. No cause of death was disclosed.

Lowe, who is also a director and producer, and Painter have been married for 16 years and have three daughters. The family previously faced the loss of their home in a 2023 fire that destroyed many houses in Los Angeles' Pacific Palisades neighborhood.
