Actor Chad Lowe and his wife, Kim Painter, announced that their 13-year-old daughter Fiona has died. The family released a statement describing Fiona as a loving, smart and creative girl who enjoyed dancing. They expressed deep sorrow over the loss and asked for prayers and privacy.
The statement also provided information for the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, encouraging anyone struggling with mental health issues to reach out for help.
Fiona, born in 2012, was the second of the couple’s three daughters, following Mabel (2009) and preceding Nixie (2016). The family previously faced the destruction of their home in the Palisades fire earlier this year.
"The way they’ve handled this whole devastating experience is nothing short of remarkable," Lowe wrote after the fire, praising his family's resilience.
A representative for Lowe did not respond to requests for comment.
