Taylor Hanson and Britt Stewart eliminated on DWTS Yacht Rock night
On the September 29 episode of Dancing With the Stars, the couple with the lowest combined judges' scores and audience votes, Taylor Hanson and Britt Stewart, were voted off the competition.
The September 29 episode of Dancing With the Stars featured 13 couples performing to yacht-rock songs for Week 3. Judges Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli scored each routine while viewers voted for their favorites. After all scores were tallied, the couple with the lowest combined total was eliminated.
Taylor Hanson and professional partner Britt Stewart received a foxtrot to "What a Fool Believes" and earned a total of 18 out of 30 points. Judges noted that Hanson showed lyrical quality but needed stronger core engagement and drive. Despite a positive comment from Hough that it was Hanson’s best dance of the season, the pair fell to the bottom of the leaderboard.
The other couples announced as safe included Jenna Dewan/Val Chmerkovskiy, Tyler Cameron/Sharna Burgess, Maura Higgins/Mark Ballas, Ciara Miller/Brandon Armstrong, Julia Stiles/Ezra Sosa, Tatyana Ali/Jan Ravnik, Ezra Frech/Daniella Karagach, Amber Glenn/Pasha Pashkov, Harry Shum Jr./Jenna Johnson, and Connor Wood/Rylee Arnold. Guillermo Rodriguez/Witney Carson, Jackson Olson/Emma Slater and Taylor Hanson/Britt Stewart were the three couples left before the elimination was announced.
The results confirmed that Taylor Hanson and Britt Stewart were the latest contestants to leave the competition.
