Meta launches Muse AI agent tailored for small businesses

Résumé

Meta introduced a version of its Muse artificial-intelligence agent designed to help small businesses with tasks such as growth planning, content creation and ad campaign drafting, offering a free tier and optional paid subscriptions.

Meta announced on Tuesday a new version of its Muse artificial-intelligence agent aimed at small-business users. The tool builds on the personal-assistant Muse released earlier this month and is described as an "agentic" AI that can carry out multi-step projects across connected apps based on user instructions.

According to the company, Muse can analyze sales and social-media data, suggest growth-plan ideas, review calendars and news feeds, and draft weekly social posts and advertising campaigns for review before publishing. Users may link the agent to services such as Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts, Meta ad accounts and other business tools, and can add custom connectors for additional platforms.

Meta said the basic version of Muse will be free for most features, while higher usage limits and extra capabilities will be available through subscription plans. The company added that the agent operates in an isolated environment and seeks user confirmation before any content is sent, published or shared.
