सारांश

Samsung has begun a broader distribution of the Android 17-based One UI 9 update to unlocked Galaxy S26 phones in the United States, following an initial limited release for T-Mobile users.

Samsung is extending the distribution of its Android 17-based One UI 9 software to additional Galaxy S26 smartphones in the United States. After an earlier announcement of the update, the first wave reached only T-Mobile customers last week. The latest phase includes unlocked devices that were enrolled in the beta program, with the update package sized at roughly 650 MB.

The official changelog lists new features such as an enhanced "Now nudge" that offers suggestions in more contexts, a "My FanCam" function that tracks a selected person in video, and improvements to conversation mode that keep chat history visible while speaking. Additional changes cover a more customizable quick panel, faster lock-screen security shortcuts, and a blue indicator for apps accessing location data.

Health and wellness tools have been refreshed, including a redesigned Samsung Health interface, expanded cycle tracking, and new metrics for heart health and cardio load. Bixby gains a gesture-based activation and a home-screen widget, while accessibility updates add text spotlight, keyboard shortcuts, and a "Select to speak" feature. The lock-screen clock has been modernized, and Samsung DeX now offers easier window management and desktop previews.

SamMobile also reported that the One UI 9 rollout has begun for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE.
