Nicki Minaj urges young voters to support Republican candidates in upcoming midterms

Rapper Nicki Minaj told an audience of young voters that they should become more involved in the upcoming midterm elections and consider supporting Republican candidates. Speaking on "My View with Lara Trump," she said the election is a chance for young people to have their voices heard and to influence decisions that affect both the country and the world. She added that participation should extend beyond presidential races to local contests, noting that voting is the primary way to have a say in policy outcomes.

Minaj also expressed continued support for President Donald Trump, describing him as authentic and praising his unscripted communication style. She said she has made it her mission to back the president and highlighted her recent role as a celebrity judge for a Small Business Administration competition linked to the administration.

When asked about her political perspective, Minaj criticized Democratic leaders for what she called overly pop-culture-focused behavior, suggesting it has led to childish conduct. She reflected on her own experience as an immigrant building a music career from modest beginnings, calling it an example of the American dream.
