Leaks suggest new iPad mini, HomePod mini and Apple TV 4K models will be unveiled in October, while Apple launches a settlement website for a class action over Siri AI delays.

Leaks obtained by MacRumors indicate that Apple plans to introduce a refreshed iPad mini powered by an A20 Pro processor, featuring a new speaker layout and a landscape-oriented front camera. The next HomePod mini is shown in additional color options, including green and pink, and a fourth-generation Apple TV 4K appears to be in development, marking the first new Apple TV model in four years. The company is also expected to announce these devices alongside a new operating system in October.

In a separate development, Apple has activated a website for a U.S. class-action settlement concerning the delayed launch of Siri AI. The settlement, agreed to in May, will provide eligible iPhone owners with a payment of approximately $25, with the amount varying based on the total number of valid claims and a maximum of $95. Claims can be submitted between September 21 and December 21, and Apple maintains that it denies the allegations but settled to avoid trial costs.

Apple also disclosed a new "Prepare to Ship" feature for the iPhone 18 Pro Max, which limits the device’s battery capacity to under 20 watt-hours during transport to meet shipping regulations. The limitation is removed once the phone is activated by the user.

Hardware engineering vice president Tom Marieb told TechRadar that the upcoming iPhone Duo will use a matte nano-texture display to reduce glare and minimize crease visibility, urging consumers to hold the company accountable for crease performance.

Beats, an Apple-owned brand, launched the Beats 360 over-ear headphones at $349.99, highlighting a redesigned acoustic architecture that offers up to 1.75 times more active noise cancellation and a 12 dB increase in output compared with the existing Studio Pro model, which will continue to be sold at a reduced price.

A leak on a Chinese platform suggested that the iPhone 20 Pro series, slated for a 2027 release, may feature slightly larger displays than the current iPhone 18 Pro models, with the Pro version at roughly 6.41 inches and the Pro Max at about 6.96 inches.
