The United States cut the International team's lead to 8.5-5.5 following Saturday's morning four-ball matches at Medinah Country Club in Chicago. After falling behind 7-3 earlier in the event, the American pairings of Scottie Scheffler with Sam Burns and Chris Gotterup with Cameron Young each secured a 2&1 victory, while Justin Thomas and Jackson Koivun halved their match against Min Woo Lee and Sungjae Im.

The International side saw Tom Kim and Si Woo Kim extend their unbeaten run to 3-0 this week by defeating Collin Morikawa and Wyndham Clark. The overall score entering the afternoon foursomes stood at 8.5 for the International team and 5.5 for the United States.

In the foursomes, the United States held a lead in three of the four matches, with Russell Henley and Jacob Bridgeman, Cameron Young and Chris Gotterup, and Sam Burns with Wyndham Clark all ahead through the fifth hole. The remaining match between Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele versus the Kim brothers was tied after seven holes.

The competition will conclude on Sunday with 24 singles matches, and the first team to reach 15.5 points will claim the Cup. The International team needs seven more points from the remaining sessions to secure victory.
