Disney+ and Hulu increase U.S. subscription fees for several plans
Disney+ and Hulu raised monthly prices for ad-supported and ad-free tiers in the United States, with changes taking effect for new customers immediately and for existing subscribers after October 21.
Disney+ announced a price increase for its U.S. monthly plans on Wednesday. The ad-supported tier now costs US$12.49, up from US$11.99, while the ad-free Premium tier rose to US$21.49 from US$18.99. Hulu’s monthly rates also increased, matching the adjustments for its ad-supported and ad-free options.
The combined Disney+ and Hulu bundle with ads remains at US$12.99, but the Premium bundle without ads climbed to US$21.99 from US$19.99. The Disney+, Hulu and ESPN Select bundle moved from US$19.99 to US$21.99, and its Premium version increased to US$32.99 from US$29.99.
"Current subscribers will see the new pricing on or after October 21," the companies said.
These changes apply to new subscriptions as of the announcement date. The companies previously raised prices in October 2024 and October 2025, and Disney+ introduced password-sharing restrictions in October 2023.
In August 2025 Disney+ disclosed plans to fully integrate Hulu into a single app launching in 2026, though each service will continue to be offered as a standalone subscription. The unified app will allow access to both Disney+ and Hulu content, including a growing library of anime that is now available on Disney+ for subscribers of both services.
Disney completed its acquisition of the remaining 33% stake in Hulu for US$8.61 billion in 2023, giving it full ownership of the streaming platform.
