Hayden Winks releases Week 3 fantasy football rankings for quarterbacks, tight ends, defenses and kickers
Analyst Hayden Winks posted his Week 3 fantasy football projections, ranking quarterbacks, tight ends, defenses and kickers based on betting market yardage forecasts and matchup analysis.
Analyst Hayden Winks published his weekly "Blueprint" column with projected fantasy points for Week 3, covering quarterbacks, tight ends, defenses and kickers. The rankings rely on betting-market yardage projections and matchup data, with charts showing points versus plays per game.
Among quarterbacks, Lamar Jackson (22.3 projected points) and Josh Allen (21.8) lead the list, while Dak Prescott and Tyler Shough each have 20.8 projected points. Winks notes that the Dallas Cowboys have allowed the most fantasy points to QBs since Week 10 of the previous season.
For tight ends, Trey McBride tops the rankings with 67.5 projected yards, followed by Dalton Kincaid (54.5) and Sam LaPorta (45.5). Winks highlights McBride’s strong target share and recent performance against the 49ers, and points to Kincaid’s route volume and red-zone role in a potent Chargers offense.
Defensive and kicker projections are also provided, with the Bills and 49ers identified as top defensive units based on projected points and sack rates.
Winks cautions that the full rankings may not be finalized by Thursday night and advises readers to check the columns through Sunday morning for updates.
