Packers likely set 48-man roster for Week 3, decision hinges on final defensive lineman

Green Bay has trimmed its roster ahead of Thursday Night Football against Atlanta, ruling out four players and confirming most positions are already oversigned. The team faces a single decision on the final inactive spot, which is expected to go to a defensive lineman.
Quarterback Jordan Love and Tyrod Taylor are listed as active, while the running back group includes Chris Brooks, Kaleb Johnson and MarShawn Lloyd. Wide receiver Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, Skyy Moore and Bo Melton are slated to play, with Jayden Reed out injured. Tight ends Tucker Kraft, Mark Redman, Jonnu Smith and Josh Whyle remain on the roster.
On the offensive line, Jorgan Morgan, Donovan Jennings, Sean Rhyan, Jacob Monk, Anthony Belton, Jager Burton, John Williams and Travis Glover are active, with Zach Bako-Bewele and Aaron Banks listed as injured. Defensive line starters Devonte Wyatt, Karl Brooks, Jonathan Ford and Chris McClellan are in, while Warren Brinson is out injured. Specialists K Trey Smack, punter Daniel Whelan and long snapper Matt Orzech complete the roster.
