Presley Gerber, 27, Son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, Dies

Presley Gerber, 27, the son of model Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, died on Sunday at a rehabilitation center in Los Angeles County, officials said. The family’s spokesperson asked for privacy during the "very difficult and painful time."

A representative confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that Gerber passed away earlier Sunday, and the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office indicated the death occurred at the rehab facility. An autopsy has not yet been completed, according to TMZ.

Gerber, who began modeling as a teenager, was signed by IMG Models at 15 and walked for Moschino in Los Angeles, Dolce & Gabbana in Milan, and appeared in a Calvin Klein campaign. He was also the older brother of model-actress Kaia Gerber, 25, who recently starred in Ryan Murphy’s series "The Shards."

His public record includes a 2019 DUI arrest that resulted in three years of probation, a mandated DUI program, and community service. Gerber had previously spoken about mental-health struggles and depression, and in 2020 he briefly displayed a facial tattoo reading “MISUNDERSTOOD,” which was later removed.
