Asus Googlebook leak reveals multiple ports and large trackpad
Leaked images of Asus' upcoming Googlebook laptop show a selection of USB-C, USB-A ports, a headphone jack, a fingerprint sensor and a notably large trackpad, with pre-orders slated to begin on September 21.
New photographs of Asus' Googlebook laptop have been released, providing a clearer view of its hardware layout. The side profiles indicate the presence of at least two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports and a headphone jack. The keyboard appears to have a standard depth and includes a fingerprint sensor, while the trackpad is described as unusually large. Additional design elements include a light bar on the chassis, a display that extends close to the edges, a dedicated "G" key positioned where a Windows Start or Mac CMD key would be, and a visible cooling fan in this configuration.
Google has confirmed that pre-orders for the device will open next week, with the official start date set for September 21.
