Apple offers same-day iPhone 18 Pro pickup at select stores despite delivery delays

Resumen

Apple says customers who missed the iPhone 18 Pro pre-order can obtain the devices via same-day store pickup in many countries, while online delivery estimates range from two to four weeks.

Apple announced that the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are now being delivered worldwide after the pre-order period that began on September 12. Customers who did not pre-order face estimated online delivery times of two to three weeks for the iPhone 18 Pro and three to four weeks for the iPhone 18 Pro Max in the United States, depending on configuration.

Apple Store locations in the United States and Canada have not yet displayed pickup availability online, and inventory may vary by state. In the United Kingdom, shipping estimates extend into the first and second weeks of October, but same-day pickup remains offered at many stores. Similar pickup options are available in Australia, China, India, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, South Korea, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.

To use the pickup service, shoppers add the iPhone to their cart on Apple’s website or app, select the “I’ll pick it up” option, enter a ZIP or postal code, choose a store, set a pickup date and a 15-minute check-in window, and complete payment online. A government-issued photo ID and the order number may be required at pickup.

Walk-in customers may be served if a store has sufficient inventory, though they could be placed in a lower-priority queue. The iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199 and the iPhone 18 Pro Max at $1,299, each $100 higher than the previous generation, with larger price jumps for higher storage capacities.
