192 GB of GTA 5 and GTA 6 Data Reveals Canceled Content and Map Assets

Resumen

A resurfaced 2022 data breach containing 192 GB of Rockstar Games files has exposed canceled GTA 5 DLC, a potential Liberty City expansion, and early low-resolution map assets for GTA 6.

A cache of 192 gigabytes of Rockstar Games data, originally leaked in 2022, has reappeared online, offering new details on both GTA 5 and the upcoming GTA 6. The files, shared by user TJGM on X, include low-resolution renders of early GTA 6 map assets that resemble locations shown in official trailers.

Analysis of a file named “dlcliberty_game.date151.rel” using the CodeWalker map editor revealed outlines of a possible Liberty City expansion for GTA 5, larger than the Liberty City featured in GTA 4, suggesting a DLC that was never released. A related terrain test file was also identified.

Additional assets pertain to a canceled GTA 5 single-player DLC titled “Agent Trevor.” The leaked material shows a spaceship site with space suits, an Arab mansion featuring a large underground area, and several mission titles. Another user, affmalyt, uncovered cut dialogue between characters such as Brucie from GTA 4 and Franklin, as well as references to Michael appearing in an “Undead Nightmare” mode and various unused vehicles.

The data also contains a draft of an alternate ending for Trevor’s storyline, in which the character crashes into a tank of liquid nitrogen, freezes, and ultimately shatters.

Rockstar confirmed that the files stem from the 2022 hack that exposed about 90 GTA 6 videos. While the data has been circulating among a limited group since the breach, it has recently been distributed more widely, leading to the current wave of leaks.
