Saturday Night Live announced two new featured players for its 52nd season while longtime cast member Chloe Fineman confirmed her departure.

Saturday Night Live said on Wednesday that Saidah Belo-Osagie and Grace Reiter will join the show as featured players when the 52nd season begins next weekend. The network posted a capital-letter welcome on Instagram.

Belo-Osagie, a Queens native, has written and directed the short film “Tinge,” created the Afrobeats Futura event series and performed a solo show titled “Saidah Gets Closure.” She shared the cast announcement on her Instagram Story, calling it a dream come true.

Reiter, who hails from Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, co-wrote, directed and stars in Netflix’s upcoming series “Minimum Wage,” a teen-pizzeria comedy that gained attention on TikTok.

“It’s really hard to leave SNL but it does feel like the right time,” wrote Chloe Fineman on Instagram after announcing her exit on July 16.

Fineman, who joined the show in 2019 and spent seven seasons performing impressions and appearing in sketches, will move on to a role in the Netflix drama “Myron Bolitar,” based on Harlan Coben’s novels.

Season 52 premieres on September 26, with New York Knicks player Jalen Brunson as host and Katseye as musical guest. The series airs on NBC, a subsidiary of NBCUniversal.
