During the second night of the Season 35 premiere, the female celebrities performed their first dances and Sarah Jane Nader was the first to be eliminated.

ABC’s "Dancing with the Stars" continued its two-night Season 35 premiere on Wednesday with the women’s first performances. The male celebrities had danced the previous night and returned as audience members to support the ladies. After each pair received judges’ scores, the voting results were announced and reality star Sarah Jane Nader, paired with professional Hailey Bills, became the first female contestant to leave the competition. The remaining 14 contestants will return for Week 2, featuring viral-hit music, on Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and Disney+.

Among the performances, Tatyana Ali and Jan Ravnik earned a 12 for a jive, while Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov received an 18 for a cha-cha. Ciara Miller and Brandon Armstrong scored 15 for a foxtrot, and Giada De Laurentiis and Alan Bersten earned 16 for a tango. Julia Stiles and Ezra Sosa received 18 for a quickstep, Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas led the night with 21 for a foxtrot, and Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy earned 19 for a tango. Judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli offered mixed feedback, noting both strengths and areas for improvement.

"That was a bit of a rough start, but I see a fierce fire burning under you," Inaba said of Ali. "You have such a beautiful awareness of your body…just a little more finesse," Hough commented on Glenn. "It’s all there with you to use," Tonioli told Miller. "I love seeing the joy in this dance," Hough added about De Laurentiis. "You foxy traitor! So seductive, so enticing, smooth as silk and ready for the kill," Tonioli remarked on Higgins. "Can I just say what we’re all thinking? That was super hot!" Inaba exclaimed after Nader’s jive, before noting she was out of sync. "You put the ‘go’ in ‘tango,’" Hough said of Dewan.

The show also marked the second same-sex female pairing in the series' history.
