Brian Hickerson crashes motorcycle after picking up brother from jail

Brian Hickerson, 37, crashed his Suzuki Hayabusa into the rear of a car on Sunday, September 13, after picking up his brother Zach, 38, from a local jail. The accident occurred in Greenville, South Carolina, and left Zach on the curb to exchange insurance information while Brian fled the scene. Police reports indicate the brothers had been handcuffed the previous night following a disturbance at Wild Wing Cafe; Brian was released, and Zach remained in custody.

Zach Hickerson told reporters that rumors about the incident had led to attacks on him, expressing frustration with the speculation. The crash follows earlier reports that actress Hayden Panettiere was found unresponsive in an apartment shared by the Hickerson brothers and later pronounced dead, with authorities indicating a likely overdose involving oxycodone and fentanyl.

Local authorities are investigating the motorcycle collision and have not released further details on any charges related to the incident.
