Murray to Participate in Limited Capacity at Wednesday Practice

Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell said the team expects quarterback Kyler Murray to join Wednesday’s practice in a limited role while he remains under concussion protocol following a hard hit early in the Sunday win over Green Bay. > "We’ll see how he responds and continue to rely on the medical folks in that regard," O’Connell told reporters. He added that Murray’s prior game experience provides a solid foundation, but the team will monitor his progress "period-by-period" and adjust his participation accordingly. Murray left Sunday’s game after 11 offensive snaps; backup Carson Wentz completed 12 of 19 passes for 133 yards and three touchdowns. If Murray does not clear the protocol, Wentz is expected to start the upcoming game against Chicago.
