Filming for season 6 of the reality series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives continues in Italy, but uncertainty surrounds the future of several participants. After Mikayla Matthews announced she was leaving the show, two other cast members indicated they may also step away.
Mayci Neeley told fans she will finish the current season but has not decided whether to return, saying, "I am finishing this current season that we are filming and then not sure for after that." Layla Taylor, who praised Matthews publicly, added that she is completing season 6 and that her future involvement is "to be determined."
The series, which aired a shortened five-episode fifth season on Hulu due to a production pause in March, has been renewed for sixth and seventh seasons. Hulu has not confirmed whether other participants, such as Taylor Frankie Paul, will remain on the program.
Whitney Leavitt has already confirmed her departure after season 5, and no further statements have been made by the remaining cast.
