FactsLane 1.6.4: a feed that follows what you choose

With 1.6.4 the feed starts from you. You pick what matters, and FactsLane keeps you caught up on it.

What's new

  • A personal For You feed. Choose topics, people, companies and places, and the feed is built around them. You can switch between your own feed and everything.
  • Why you are seeing this. Each card can say which of your interests brought it to the feed.
  • A strictness setting. Decide how tightly the feed sticks to your choices or how much room it leaves for the wider day.
  • Add interests from an event. Open any event and add the people, companies or places in it to your interests. Search suggests matches as you type.
  • A fresh look. The feed and profile screens have been redesigned.
  • Push alerts by interest. Alerts follow your choices instead of going to everyone, and the daily digest push arrives in your window. Set quiet hours and nothing buzzes at night.
  • A clearer guest mode. If you are not signed in, it is now plainer what you can do and what an account adds.

Why it matters

News should not ask you to scroll through everything to find your part of it. When the feed and the alerts are built from your choices, you spend less time looking and more time knowing.

How to try it

Update FactsLane on iOS or Android. Open the feed and look for your interests at the top. Quiet hours and alert types are in notification settings.
