Zen Mode for guests, Pulse for sports and finance
FactsLane 1.5.2 is a small release with three changes you will notice in the first minute.
What changed
- Zen Mode without an account. Zen Mode filters the feed down to constructive and quiet stories. You no longer need to sign up to turn it on, so you can see what a calmer feed feels like before deciding anything else.
- Pulse covers sports and finance. Pulse is the screen for the day's signals. It now has sports and finance sections next to the Turbulence Index, so scores, standings and market moves sit in one place instead of in three other apps.
- Fact check on the event card. The result of the check is visible directly on the card. You see how well the facts hold up before you open the story, not after.
Why it matters
The idea behind FactsLane is simple: just the facts, no noise. Each of these changes shortens the distance between opening the app and knowing what is going on. A guest can try the calmest mode right away. Someone who follows sports or markets gets a quick read without scrolling through headlines. And the card itself now says how much of the story has been checked.
How to try it
Update to 1.5.2 from the App Store. Zen Mode is in the feed settings, and Pulse is a tab in the main navigation. The fact check appears on event cards in the feed.
