Samsung Event Details Revealed in Pre-Event Leak

Samsung Device Details Shared Ahead of Galaxy Unpacked Event

A leak has surfaced one day before Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event, providing additional information and images of the company’s upcoming devices. In a series of posts on Bluesky, Roland Quandt shared marketing materials that indicate Samsung may not include support for the S Pen on the new Z Fold 7 model.

This follows a previous leak from Quandt, which appeared to show specifications for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and Z Flip 7 FE. The marketing materials emphasize the Z Fold 7’s slim profile, stating it measures 4.2mm when unfolded and weighs 215 grams. The Z Flip 7 is described as measuring 6.5mm when unfolded.

According to Quandt, the marketing materials do not mention S Pen support for the Z Fold 7. In earlier versions, the S Pen Fold Edition could be purchased separately and stored in a special case, but not inside the device itself. The leaked information suggests the Z Fold 7 may not support the S Pen.

Quandt also posted images and specifications for the Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra. The new Watch Ultra is reported to have 64GB of storage, an increase from the previous 32GB. It retains features such as a 1.5-inch AMOLED display, up to 100 hours of battery life in power-saving mode, a safety siren, and dual-frequency GPS.

The Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic appear to maintain a round display and a squircle body design similar to the Watch Ultra. The Watch 8 may offer 3,000 nits of brightness and an 11 percent thinner profile compared to its predecessor.

The Watch 8 Classic is reported to have 64GB of storage and a 445mAh battery, compared to the Watch 6 Classic’s 16GB of storage and up to 425mAh battery. The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is expected to be available in one size, 1.3 inches, with a silver rotating bezel and a watch face available in black or white.
