Yorkshire Ambulance Trust probes unauthorized medical record access after tiger attack
Yorkshire Ambulance Trust said on 17 October it is probing two of its staff members for accessing the medical records of William Chapman without justification after he was fatally mauled by a tiger at Yorkshire Wildlife Park on 10 October. The incident attracted international attention when President Donald Trump posted the real footage of the attack and later shared an AI-generated clip of himself wrestling the animal, drawing widespread criticism.
Chapman's relatives said the circulation of the footage caused them severe distress. A coroner later determined that the 24-year-old former child actor, who had a history of mental illness, died from multiple traumatic injuries sustained in the enclosure.
