Texans acquire Marvin Harrison Jr., quarterback C.J. Stroud lauds new chemistry
Houston quarterback C. J. Stroud said on 15 October that he felt instant chemistry with rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. , praising the player’s work ethic, precise route running and confidence ahead of the team’s next game.
The trade that brought Harrison to Houston was completed on 4 October, when the Texans sent a 2027 second-round pick and a seventh-rounder to the Arizona Cardinals, as confirmed by general manager Nick Caserio. Earlier reports in early October indicated the Cardinals were preparing to move the former top-10 draft pick; Harrison missed a team meeting and was listed as inactive before the deal was finalized. He later passed his physical with the Texans, and coach DeMeco Ryans said Harrison would start in the London game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
