Three men sentenced for murders of Australian surfers and U.S. friend in Baja California
A judge in Ensenada sentenced Jesús Gerardo García, Irineo Francisco N and Ángel Jesús N to prison for the murders, armed robbery and carjacking of Australian brothers Jake and Callum Robinson and their U. S. companion Carter Rhoad during a 2024 surfing trip in Baja California.
BBC reported that the three defendants had previously been found guilty by a Mexican court, with sentencing pending at that time. The victims were shot and their bodies dumped after the attackers stole their vehicle.
