CD Projekt Red releases Witcher 3 Remastered patch 5.01

CD Projekt Red released patch 5. 01 for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, the studio said from its Warsaw headquarters. The update adds new lighting options, addresses performance bottlenecks and resolves several gameplay bugs, while a separate update for the upcoming Switch 2 version is slated.

The patch follows a series of earlier updates announced by the developer. In March, CD Projekt Red rolled out a lighting-balance update that introduced DLSS support for consoles and PC, and later outlined plans for further performance and visual tweaks on next-gen platforms. Subsequent statements indicated additional fixes for console voice-over issues and expanded mod support were in the pipeline.
