Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane was ruled out with a knee injury sustained on the opening drive, and an MRI is scheduled for Monday to determine the severity.

Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane suffered a knee injury on the first drive of Sunday’s game after being tackled by Kansas City Chiefs safety Alohi Gilman, who grabbed Achane by the facemask and twisted him to the ground. The play was not penalized, and the Dolphins announced that Achane is out with a serious knee injury.

"Still gathering information and hopefully I’ll have more information for you," coach Jeff Hafley said after the game. "To be very honest with you, it does not sound very optimistic at this moment. But I can’t give you any other details until I have them." Achane, who had three carries for 17 yards before the injury, will undergo an MRI on Monday to confirm the diagnosis.
