Travis Kelce Highlights Game Wins and Supports Taylor Swift at VMAs
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelke contributed a 48-yard catch and an 11-yard touchdown in the team's 24-10 win over Miami, while also publicly supporting his wife Taylor Swift's appearance at the 2026 Video Music Awards.
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce helped secure a 24-10 victory over the Miami Dolphins, catching a 48-yard pass on the opening snap and an 11-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. The play gave Kansas City a 14-point lead with less than three minutes remaining. "All of a sudden Travis is right there behind everybody," quarterback Patrick Mahomes said after the game, noting Kelce's impact as a "big-time player" who made a decisive play.
Kelce's wife, pop star Taylor Swift, was in Los Angeles for the 2026 Video Music Awards and did not attend the game. While unable to join her at the ceremony, Kelce expressed support by liking several social-media posts about Swift's appearance, including a Billboard caption noting "The Showgirl herself has arrived to the 2026 #VMAs" and a Good Morning America post celebrating her arrival on the carpet.
Swift attended the VMAs in a Tamara Ralph couture dress with metallic silver sandals and received the inaugural Artist Director Honors, recognizing her contributions to music-video storytelling. She also premiered the music video for "Patient Zero," featuring Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell, as part of a new EP released shortly before the Chiefs-Dolphins game.
