Apple Expected to Unveil Lighter OLED Touchscreen MacBook Pro
Apple is expected to unveil a redesigned MacBook Pro with an OLED touchscreen and a lighter chassis in Cupertino, California, with a launch anticipated next month, according to Engadget. Earlier reports from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, cited by MacRumors, indicated that Apple could introduce 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models featuring OLED touchscreens as early as October, though a November delay was also mentioned.
9to5Mac added that the redesign would replace the current notch with a hole-punch camera. Initial October product-event coverage also suggested a touch-enabled MacBook Pro would be part of Apple’s fall lineup.
