NFL fines three players for mock beer gestures, Bud Light spotlights penalties
NBC Sports reported that the NFL fined three players for mimicking beer consumption, a total of $37,384, and that the league’s official beer sponsor Bud Light highlighted the amount on its social-media channels. The fines were issued for what the league deemed an offensive demonstration during post-touchdown celebrations. Earlier reports indicated that San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk had been fined nearly $15,000 for a post-touchdown gesture that simulated a beer chug.
