Milania Giudice's hearing delayed to December after Tampa airport incident
A New Jersey court postponed Milania Giudice's domestic-violence hearing to Dec 1, according to Page Six, after her lawyer requested an adjournment following a recent incident at Tampa International Airport. Police were called to Tampa International Airport on Sept 23 after a dispute erupted between the 20-year-old Milania, her mother Teresa Giudice and sister Gia, Page Six reported. Authorities said the call also mentioned that Milania was experiencing suicidal thoughts and a mental breakdown, but no arrest or medical transport was made, TMZ noted. Body-camera footage later released showed Milania yelling at her mother and sister after a recent Baker Act discharge, Page Six reported.
An Instagram video that Milania posted and then deleted captured a tense exchange with her mother and sister with police visible nearby, Yahoo reported. USA Today said Milania tested positive for fentanyl during the airport episode, and Teresa Giudice asked the public to respect the family's privacy. The Cut relayed that Teresa posted an Instagram statement seeking compassion for Milania, who was grieving the death of a close friend. Page Six added that Milania is now receiving professional support after the confrontation.
