Elizabeth Holmes Announces New Social Media Posting Protocol Ahead of Documentary Release
The Hollywood Reporter said Elizabeth Holmes, the former Theranos founder who is serving an 11-year fraud sentence in a Texas prison, announced that future posts on X will bear her initials and that any unmarked messages are posted by her team, as a documentary about her life readies for release. Earlier reports indicated that Holmes is scheduled to be transferred to the Austin Transitional Center, a Texas halfway house, after a sentence reduction, and a federal judge has barred her from contacting the investors she defrauded, according to The Daily Beast.
The New York Post reported that she posted a cryptic warning about her children’s safety, The Independent noted that she retweeted a Trump campaign video, and The Daily Beast said she publicly praised President Trump while a clemency petition is pending. The documentary, titled “You Can See Everything,” is slated for theatrical release.
