Nebraska Beats Michigan State 31-13 for First Big Ten Win
Sports Illustrated reported that Nebraska defeated Michigan State 31-13 on 26 September in East Lansing, earning its first Big Ten victory of the season and its first 4-0 start since 2016. Earlier in the week, 247Sports said head coach Matt Rhule outlined the Huskers' preparation, travel roster limits and injury status as they headed to East Lansing for their first road conference contest.
Sports Illustrated noted that Nebraska, unbeaten in its first three games, traveled to face a 2-1 Michigan State team in the opening conference matchup. 247Sports also reported that Nebraska moved an edge rusher to probable and listed a safety as questionable, while Michigan State announced several players out and a cornerback as questionable before kickoff.
