Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber were reported to be considering moving away from Los Angeles after their 27-year-old son Presley Gerber died of a suspected overdose, according to sources. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office confirmed that Presley Gerber, a model and the older brother of Kaia Gerber, died at a Santa Monica rehabilitation facility on 20 September. A family representative also confirmed the death. Santa Monica police said the case is being treated as a suspected overdose while the medical examiner awaits further test results.
A video released by a source showed Gerber filming himself at the facility the night before his death. The death certificate later recorded that he was cremated and that the death was ruled a suspected overdose, with the investigation ongoing. The parents have arranged a private memorial in Malibu.
