Stallone rejects Trump’s Hollywood ambassador appointment
Sylvester Stallone told The Times in Los Angeles that he would not accept President Donald Trump's appointment as a special Hollywood ambassador, calling the role unrealistic. Earlier, Stallone said to the same newspaper that he had never agreed to serve in the position and was surprised by the 2025 appointment, noting he first learned of it while watching television. He also said the inclusion of Mel Gibson and Jon Voight in the envoy roster made the concept impractical.
