Missouri lists venues with potential measles exposure after Amtrak-linked outbreak
Missouri health officials warned that visitors to several locations in the St. Louis area may have been exposed to measles and advised them to watch for symptoms for the next 21 days.
The alert follows a series of related notices that began in California, where state health authorities said an unvaccinated Amtrak passenger who traveled through six counties could have exposed other riders, and Los Angeles County officials later cautioned travelers at Union Station of possible exposure. In Missouri, health officials also ordered quarantine for more than 250 people in Jackson County after confirming a measles case linked to the Amtrak trip.
