Madonna, Snoop Dogg and Taylor Swift to Feature at 2026 MTV VMAs
According to Yahoo, the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards, scheduled for September 27 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, will feature Madonna's first performance in 23 years, Snoop Dogg as host, and Taylor Swift receiving the inaugural Artist Director Honors. The Hollywood Reporter said MTV and CBS unveiled the first-wave performer lineup, naming Madonna, Lisa, Raye and Shaboozey and confirming the September 27 date in Los Angeles. Billboard noted that Madonna leads the nominations with a record-tying 11 nods across social categories.
Rolling Stone reported that additional artists such as Gunna, Gener8ion, Yung Lean and others will also appear at the show. AOL. com announced that Taylor Swift will be presented with the inaugural Artist Director Honors, bringing her VMA win total to 30.
