Ella Langley's 'Choosin' Texas' Matches Record 22-Week Run at No. 1 on Hot 100
Ella Langley's single 'Choosin' Texas' tied the longest-running No. 1 streak in Billboard Hot 100 history with 22 weeks, matching Mariah Carey's holiday classic.
Ella Langley's country-pop crossover "Choosin' Texas" has remained at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for a 22nd consecutive week, tying the record for the longest No. 1 run since the chart's inception in 1958. The achievement matches the 22-week run previously set by Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You."
The song first entered the Hot 100 on the chart dated November 1, 2025, reached the top ten in January, and claimed the No. 1 spot in February. It also spent three weeks leading the Country Airplay chart in February-March and has since crossed over to pop formats, appearing in the top ten of Pop Airplay, Adult Pop Airplay and Adult Contemporary charts.
Earlier this year, "Choosin' Texas" broke the record for the most weeks at No. 1 among non-holiday songs, surpassing the previous leaders Shaboozey's "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" and Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road" featuring Billy Ray Cyrus.
In other chart news, Karol G's "BbY WOW," featuring Judeline and rusowsky, entered the Hot 100 top ten at position ten.
