Packers rotate offensive line after Week 1 protection woes
Green Bay offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich said on 16 September that the Packers will rotate offensive linemen in practice this week to identify the most effective five-man unit after the line allowed a league-high number of quarterback hits in the season-opening loss to Minnesota. The loss on 13 September was a 39-22 defeat to the Vikings, during which quarterback Jordan Love was hit a record number of times, ESPN reported.
Sports Illustrated gave head coach Matt LaFleur an F grade for the game, and NBC Sports noted that Love was hit 15 times. Packers Wire added that the line allowed 22 pressures and hampered the run game, while Acme Packing Company said the unit struggled throughout the outing.
