Watson expects strong fan support ahead of Browns' home opener
Quarterback Deshaun Watson said he expects a warm reception from Cleveland fans as the Browns prepare for their home game against the Panthers. The Browns opened the season on 13 September with a 34-10 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, in which Watson threw one interception and one touchdown.
Coach Todd Monken kept Watson as starter for Week 2, and Watson led Cleveland to a 23-19 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, throwing for 238 yards and two touchdowns. Monken later confirmed Watson would start the home opener, and the quarterback now looks to the support of the home crowd.
