Ohio gubernatorial candidate's fair attack suspect pleads not guilty
NBC News reported that on September 8 a 38-year-old man who had forced his way through a crowd at the Canfield Fair on September 4 and knocked two senior volunteers to the ground pleaded not guilty to assault, disorderly conduct and panic charges. The charges stem from the incident that disrupted candidate Amy Acton's campaign stop. The incident occurred on September 4 at the Canfield Fair in Canfield, Ohio, when an armed individual lunged toward Democratic gubernatorial nominee Amy Acton, injuring several fairgoers before being subdued by Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers and arrested on assault charges, AP News reported.
