Uber to cut 3,300 jobs in restructuring
Uber announced in San Francisco that it will lay off roughly 3,300 employees, about 10% of its global workforce, as part of a restructuring aimed at simplifying the organization and focusing on growth opportunities. Earlier reports said the cuts were intended to streamline management, accelerate decision-making and redirect savings toward ride-sharing, delivery and robotaxi operations.
