Everton's Balogun deal collapses, Monaco pulls Camara offer
Everton's €45 million deal for striker Folarin Balogun collapsed after medical concerns, prompting Monaco to withdraw its €55 million offer for Chelsea's target Lamine Camara, the New York Times reported. The New York Times said Balogun chose not to complete the transfer following a medical assessment, leaving Everton without a forward as the window closed.
Sky Sports added that the failed medical triggered the player's withdrawal and disrupted Chelsea's pursuit of midfielder Lamine Camara. Later, the New York Times quoted Monaco's chief executive saying the club would explore other options for Balogun.
