Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars will premiere on September 15, featuring a diverse cast that includes reality-TV personalities, athletes and actors, alongside returning judges and hosts.

ABC announced that the 35th season of Dancing with the Stars will debut on September 15. Judges Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli will return, and Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro are slated to co-host again. The full roster of celebrity contestants was revealed on Good Morning America on September 2, along with their professional dance partners. Returning pro Sharna Burgess will rejoin the show after a five-year break, and Adele Zaikman earned a spot by winning the spin-off series Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro. Among the celebrities announced are Love Island and The Traitors alum Maura Higgins, who will be paired with Mark Ballas, and fellow Traitors participant Ciara Miller, dancing with Brandon Armstrong. Savannah Bananas baseball player Jackson Olson will team with Emma Slater, while Jimmy Kimmel sidekick Guillermo Rodriguez will be partnered with Witney Carson. Actress Julia Stiles, known for late-1990s teen films, will dance with Ezra Sosa, and former Bachelorette runner-up Tyler Cameron will be paired with Sharna Burgess. Model Sarah Jane Nader, whose sister Brooks previously competed, will be partnered with Hailey Bills. Former Step Up dancer Jenna Dewan will return to the floor with Val Chmerkovskiy, and Conner Leavitt, whose wife was eliminated last season, will dance alongside Adele Zaikman. Tatyana Ali, Taylor Hanson, Paralympian Ezra Frech, actor Harry Shum Jr., TikTok creator Connor Wood, Olympic figure skater Amber Glenn and Food Network chef Giada De Laurentiis also join the competition with various professional partners.

"I'm a strong believer in manifesting. I had it on my vision board. And now it is happening, which I cannot believe, and I know it's going to be so, so hard. But because I really want to do it, I'm going to put my all into it," Maura Higgins said at the announcement event. "I am so excited to join Season 35 of 'Dancing With the Stars.' I feel like this is the perfect moment," Ciara Miller added during the Hulu upfront. "I can't move my feet in a way that I can on a ballroom floor that I can on dirt and grass," Jackson Olson told E! News about adapting his baseball movements to dance. The season will award the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy to the winning pair.
