Leaked iPhone 18 Pro parts suggest three color options, excluding black
A leaker's photos of SIM trays indicate the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro may be offered in Silver, Dark Cherry and Sky Blue, with no black variant confirmed.
A longtime Apple leaker has posted an image of differently colored SIM card trays that he says belong to the forthcoming iPhone 18 Pro models. The trays appear in Silver, Dark Cherry and Sky Blue, implying those will be the three color choices for the new flagship line.
The current iPhone 17 Pro is sold in Cosmic Orange, Silver and Deep Blue. Earlier this month a Chinese source claimed the iPhone 18 Pro would be available in Dark Cherry, Sky Blue and Black, but the leaker said the only colors he has seen recently are the three shown in the tray image. He noted that a dummy unit with a black finish was shown in May, but argued that black trays are produced each year even though Apple no longer favors the shade for its high-end phones.
In regions such as the United States and Canada, iPhone models use eSIM technology and do not include a physical SIM tray, while markets like Europe, Japan, China and Australia still ship devices with trays. A separate leak in April suggested Apple would drop black entirely from the iPhone 18 Pro lineup, marking the first time the company's premium iPhones would lack a black or dark-gray option.
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, along with a new foldable device dubbed "iPhone Ultra," at its September event next week.
