North Carolina teen indicted for murder after livestreaming San Diego mosque shooting
The Forsyth County District Attorney's Office announced on 1 September that a 17-year-old girl from North Carolina was indicted on murder and conspiracy charges for recording and publishing the livestream and manifesto of the May 18 shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego. Earlier, on 31 August, prosecutors filed the indictment, alleging the teen helped plan the attack, which involved gunfire inside the mosque and a lockdown, and that she disseminated the video and manifesto online.
